· GPT business started. Located at 3rd miles of Cheras (with 5 employees) to manufacture precision tools, jigs and fixtures.

· Started to manufacture precision metal dies and plastic moulds

· Invested in high precision CNC Grinding machine and CNC Milling machine & EDM machine
1983
· Started to manufacture Integrated Circuit (IC) & transistor transfer mould (400 CAV & 800 CAV)
1985
· Started to manufacture Production Semi-
1990
· Incorporation of GEC & GMS that gradually took over the electronic & stamping division of GPT
1993
· Company shifted to new factory that is located at Balakong Indutrial Area
1994
Implemented a fully computerized system (MRP II) to further smoothen the production flow and enhance inventory control
1996
· Lembaga Tabung Haji invested as shareholder of GPT
· Clipsal awarded the "Best Vendor Award" to GMS
1997
· GCI was established to manufacture agricultural cranes
· Acquired ISO 9002 Certification
1998
· Hitachi awarded the "Best Vendor Award" to GMS
· Hitachi Ltd. appointed Gallant as the distributor of Hitachi automotive parts & components in Malaysia
1999
· Awarded "Supplier Six Sigma Certificate" by Sony Technology Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.
· GI was established to manufacture electrical products
2001
· GAI was established to manufacture blower motor
2002
· Signing ceremony of Blower Motor Project between GAI and Hitachi Ltd. Japan
2003
· Sony certified that GEC have successfully established an environmental management that meet the requirements of the Sony Green Partner Program
· GEC & GMS certified to ISO 9001 : 2000 effective September 2003
· GEC presented with Sony's prestigious "Best Supplier" award, certificate of award and a Wega 29" TV gift

GAI certified to ISO 9001:2000 effective December 2004
